Six colourful images taken in the sunshine this weekend…

Purple, yellow and red in the front garden

A hardy fuchsia I’ve dug out many times because it got too huge but it keeps coming back and now it looks great –

Colour from simple plants – purple basil and sedum
Here is the fancy mahonia I showed you last time with interesting flowers

Evergreen shiny foliage and scented flowers
but now all the flowers have dropped off. No idea why.

Sunshine through the grasses and geranium Rozanne in the foreground

Some yellow pots, a purple table and a Burmese blue old gentleman.
Thankyou to the propagator who hosts this theme of Six on a Saturday of any six things in our garden. Over on his blog you can find other people’s sixes.
Happy autumn to us all and aren’t we so lucky to have this wonderful weather each day. Fingers crossed.
