A hardy fuchsia I’ve dug out many times because it got too huge but it keeps coming back and now it looks great –

Colour from simple plants – purple basil and sedum

Here is the fancy mahonia I showed you last time with interesting flowers

but now all the flowers have dropped off.  No idea why.

Some yellow pots, a purple table and a Burmese blue old gentleman.

Thankyou to the propagator who hosts this theme of Six on a Saturday of any six things in our garden.  Over on his blog you can find other people’s sixes.

Happy autumn to us all and aren’t we so lucky to have this wonderful weather each day. Fingers crossed.

loving your garden set up and photos – I’ve got lots of hardy fuchsias in my garden in Manchester – not on the six this week – they’re loving the late autumn warmth at the moment. your cat is beautiful and obviously enjoying the sunshine.
Have a lovely week love Bec 🙂

Thankyou for your lovely comment Bec. the temperature has really dropped here today and it’s cold outside. I wonder if those sunny days are over now.

I see Mr Old Blue’s colour coordinated his tag w/the table. Very swish.

Ah yes. He’s quite an old man now, just 14 but sleeps most of the time (like right now).

Loved browsing through your sixes. I enjoyed all of your purple accent pieces in your lovely garden. I added a few splashes of purple to my garden this summer and have plans for more.

Thanks for your encouragement – yes purple is such a lovely colour to have, goes well with green I reckon.
